Our story
Our territory, which stretches from the Gulf of Morbihan to the islands via the Bay of Quiberon, is beautiful, but the ever-increasing number of visitors makes it vulnerable.
1 million people cross to Belle-Île
Today, 1 million people cross to Belle-Île every year with motor boats, causing irreversible disruption to the ecosystems. Today in France and throughout the world, no carbon-free alternative to maritime passenger transport has been able to impose itself.
We have created « iliens » as we are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of transport and develop our profession in a local way.
We want to offer an ecological and fun alternative to maritime passenger transport by creating a regular sailing boat service between the continent and Belle-Île.
We have chosen a catamaran which has already proved its worth and complies with the legislation on « Passenger Boats ».
This boat can transport 69 passengers and 3 crew members in complete safety. 2 to 3 daily rotations are assured between Port Maria (Quiberon) and Sauzon (Belle-Île).
